Katy and Melanie are the Co Owners of Chic Influencer. Chic is a company committed to providing a one stop shop to helping you reach your business goals. Chic is for the woman who owns an Etsy shop, the Real Estate Agent, the Network Marketing Professional, the Boutique owner and more! We are here to help you navigate the messy middle of building your business. Everything from social media, to branding, building your list, time management and marketing. We got you covered!
So who are we??
Katy and I have known each other since we were in college. We were both in the same sorority, good ole ASA! We connected in 2012 and started working together in our Network Marketing businesses. Over the past 6 years we have learned that we work incredibly well together. Katy is an incredible writer and story teller. As a middle school English teacher she can captivate her audience with her words and images. Katy also has battled Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma while in the trenches of building her network marketing business. She was able to grow her team to the top .01% of the company that year and ultimately left the classroom to teach on her social media platforms. Katy shows incredible grit and courage and is an example to all business owners how to do the HARD things even though it is not always easy. Katy is a mom to two boys Nick and "Baby D" and she is married to her husband Mike who also works from home as a computer programmer.
I (Melanie) had absolutely no idea what network marketing was or how to build on online social media brand just 8 years ago. I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Special Education. I had every intention of getting my education and then staying home when I had kids. When we had our second boy I left my career all together. Shortly after that I found the company I am partnered with and I couldn't believe the butterflies I had about building a business. I taught myself everything that I know about social media, about building a brand, telling my story, and I love creating systematic approaches to growing my business. My passions are teaching people how to manage their time and how to create strategic marketing plans to execute their business goals. Over the past 7 1/2 years our team has been the top team in the company and I have been in the top 10 for the past 5 years in a row.
We are both so pumped for Chic Influencer and to be able to take the 7 1/2 years of in the trenches business building experience and put it together for you! This is your one stop shop to building that life you dream of.
